General
You have to take a total of 6 courses. There are 5 pre-requisite courses followed by the Broker Course. The courses are:
- 1 x Fundamentals of Real Estate Course
- 4 x Practice Area Courses
- Residential
- Commercial
- Property Management
- Rural
- 1 x Broker Course
- Your name
- Your username
- The course name, the Session number or name, and the applicable page number or the Activity number and question number
- A copy of the content in question (e.g. screenshot, copy and paste)
- A description of your question or concern
Technical and Course Navigation
Modern browsers typically work with Rise courses without any special configuration. If you experience issues, try these steps:
- Make sure you're using an up-to-date browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge)
- Ensure cookies are enabled (this is the default setting in most browsers)
- Allow pop-ups from rise-elearning.ca
If you still have trouble, contact help@rise-academy.ca and we'll help you troubleshoot.
A blank screen usually means your browser needs to be updated or isn't compatible. Try these steps:
- Switch to Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge
- Clear your browser cache and cookies
- Disable any ad-blockers for the Rise site
- Try a different device

Emails are the most efficient way to contact Learner Support. In your email, include:
- Your name
- The course name
- Your username
- Details of the technical issue and the system you are using (computer or mobile device, operating system, browser name and version)
- A screenshot of the technical issue if possible
- Phone number(s) where you can be reached
The most common reasons your progress isn't saving:
- You didn't click "SAVE & EXIT" before closing the browser – always use this button
- You stopped in the middle of an activity – complete the full activity to save progress
- Your browser cache needs clearing – try clearing your browsing data or using a different browser

Pre-Licencing
Registration
- Set up a myRECA account at myreca.ca
- Complete your Eligibility Application and submit through myRECA
- Pay the fee.
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrate English proficiency
- Provide a certified criminal record check
- Be able to lawfully study and work in Canada
- Be able to provide specific government issued identification (ID)
