You must log out of the course each time you finish studying to save your progress. IMPORTANT: Your progress in an activity will not be saved if you stop partway through. You must receive a message onscreen stating that you have successfully completed the activity before you exit the Session or you will be returned to the start of the activity when you resume the course.
As you move through the content and activities in a Session, a green check mark appears next to their titles on the right side of the screen when your progress is being saved. Once you complete a Session and all of its activities, the next Session becomes available. IMPORTANT: Your progress in an activity will not be saved if you stop partway through. You must receive a message onscreen stating that you have successfully completed the activity before you exit the Session or you will be returned to the start of the activity when you resume the course.

The most common reasons your progress isn't saving:

  1. You didn't click "SAVE & EXIT" before closing the browser – always use this button
  2. You stopped in the middle of an activity – complete the full activity to save progress
  3. Your browser cache needs clearing – try clearing your browsing data or using a different browser

If the issue continues, contact help@rise-academy.ca

Your online connection may time out and the course may stop tracking and saving your progress if you leave the course idle for more than 2 hours. If you receive a time out message, you must save and exit the Session you are currently in, log out of the course, and then log back into the course to ensure your progress will be tracked going forward.
Once you complete a Session and all of its activities, the next Session becomes available. You must successfully complete all activities included in the Session to advance in the course. The answers for the activities are located in the content of the respective Session. An activity is only considered completed once you receive a message onscreen stating that you have successfully completed the activity and a green check mark appears beside the activity's title along the right side of the screen.
